Settling the Future Disputes: Reforms in Nikkah Nama

Abstract

In Pakistan, the institution of marriage is faced with a multitude of problems that distort families, increase crime rate, and disrupt the social fabric. The present study explores the problematic issues related to the structure, filling, completion, and registration of Nikah Nama that is a significant part of Muslim Marriage proceedings. Several recommendations have been presented at the end to resolve the matters related to Nikah Nama.
